Job Summary

Grand River Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, treatment, and education to assigned inpatients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and develop patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other care team members.
  • Provide support to patients, including bandage maintenance, pain management, and ensuring patients receive adequate rest, fluids, and nutrients.
  • Observe patients' progress, record observations in patient medical records, and update attending physicians directly when necessary.
  • Provide patient education and advocate for patients as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance of health and the prevention or management of illness, injury, and disability.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado required.
  • Must have current BLS card upon hire.
  • Position also requires ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certification within 6 months of initial employment.
  • All required certifications must maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
  • Prefer one year of professional nursing experience in a patient care setting. Must be 18 years of age or older.
