Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team at SSM Health. As a Medical-Surgical Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and develop individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
