Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical radiographs as directed by physicians or radiologists in accordance with established standards and practices.

  • Prepare patients and adjust equipment as necessary for the performance of x-ray examinations.
  • Identify and instruct patients regarding procedures.
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks as directed by the Medical Imaging Director.
  • Prepare and maintain departmental records and reports, and file patient jackets as necessary.

Requirements

  • AK state RN license - Required
  • BLS - (AHA) Required
  • ARRT MRI certification and a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience. Required
  • ARRT R certification. Required
  • Preferred but not required: 2+ years of CT experience.
  • Successfully complete an AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training course. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and maintain annual registration. Must keep current with CEU credits as required by the ARRT.
