Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist Level II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing advanced breast imaging procedures, including stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, and ultrasound-guided biopsies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilize AIDET principles to communicate effectively with patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and immobilization.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety protocols, infection control measures, and radiation policies.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
  • 2 years of experience in mammography or related field.
  • Current certification in mammography (ARRT-M) and radiography (ARRT-R).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
