Company Overview:
Whole Foods Market is in search of dedicated Full-Time Order Selectors for our Distribution Center. This facility specializes in perishable items, including floral, meat, and produce products.

Working Environment:
Temperatures in the warehouse can range from -10°F (freezer) to 46°F (including specialized ripening rooms for certain produce).

Compensation:
Base Pay: $19/hour
Incentives include:
- $200 bonus upon completion of 8-week training
- $1000 milestone bonus
- $500 bonuses at 6 and 12 months
- Up to $800 monthly based on productivity and accuracy

Schedule:
Shifts begin at 1:00 PM and continue until completion, with a rotating schedule of 4-day/10-hour workweeks, including weekends and holidays. Schedules are communicated 3 weeks in advance.

Role Responsibilities:
Order Selectors are tasked with:
  • Utilizing an electric/motorized ride-on standing pallet jack in a temperature-controlled environment.
  • Employing a voice-based headset system to assist in the selection of products for shipment.
  • Manually stacking products onto pallets, lifting weights up to 70 lbs, and preparing items for dispatch.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Experience with electric/motorized ride-on pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with voice-based order systems is advantageous.

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to:
  • Stand or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
  • Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally (team lift recommended for heavier items).
  • Work in a cold/wet storage environment.
  • Utilize tools and equipment safely, including safety box cutters and electric pallet jacks.

Availability:
Shifts typically last between 8-10 hours, and candidates should be prepared to work a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
