Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) plays a vital role in providing personal care, companion care, and nursing assistance to residents living in Eskaton communities. This position requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can provide high-quality care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. preferred
  • Proficient ability to communicate orally and in writing in the English language
  • Six (6) months experience in providing personal care in a residential or long-term care setting preferred
  • Valid/current first aid certification
