Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery

United Health Care Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN to join our team in a Labor and Delivery setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate travel nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery environment. As a travel nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and healthcare professionals, while also developing your skills and expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Assess Mother and Baby: Provide continuous monitoring and assessment of mother and baby during labor, ensuring the highest level of care and attention to detail.
  • Assist with Childbirth: Assist with childbirth and provide support to the mother, ensuring a safe and comfortable delivery experience.
  • Administer Medications: Administer medications, including epidurals, and manage pain relief, ensuring the mother's comfort and well-being.
  • Monitor Fetal Heart Rates and Contractions: Monitor fetal heart rates and contractions, ensuring the health and well-being of the baby.
  • Provide Postpartum Care and Education: Provide postpartum care and education to the mother, ensuring a smooth transition to motherhood.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with doctors and midwives during delivery, ensuring a seamless and efficient care experience.
  • Ensure a Sterile and Safe Environment: Ensure a sterile and safe environment during childbirth, adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
  • Document Labor and Delivery Processes: Document labor and delivery processes accurately, ensuring clear and concise communication with healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Active RN License: Possess an active RN license in good standing.
  • Required Certifications: Hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHM.
  • Experience: Possess more than 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Covid Vaccination: Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
