Clamp Operator

We are seeking a skilled Clamp Operator to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers. As a Clamp Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

• Delegate tasks to a team of forklift drivers and train new drivers on department processes.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery areas.
• Maintain trucks or vans by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
• Arrange shipments by examining destinations, routes, rates, delivery times, and dispatching to carriers.
• Operate powered industrial lift trucks (MHE/forklifts) and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Load and unload trailers as required.
• Adhere to the client program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence and an understanding of the client's Supply Chain quality policy.
• Perform inbound receiving and outbound processes, coordinate and expedite requests, time-specific pickups, and deliveries.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedules.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products, perform inventory controls, and maintain quality standards for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any discrepancies and communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Handle order processing and order fulfillment.

• Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors or leads.
• Ability to work in a variety of climates and conditions, including warehouse facilities that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and have accurate data entry skills.
• Detail-oriented and knowledgeable of logistics operations.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and required shift work (1st/2nd/3rd).
• Ability to work in a team environment while delivering independent results.
• Must have a valid driver's license and experience using a sit-down MHE/forklift, preferably within the last year.
