Tube Mill Operator

The Tube Mill Operator is a key member of our production team, responsible for operating equipment in a Tube Production Cell to complete corrugated steel connectors for water and gas. This role involves conducting tests and measurements, logging results, and performing autonomous maintenance activities.

• Operate production machines and equipment to roll, weld, cut, swage, and corrugate steel tubes according to specifications.
• Set and adjust machine parameters to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and log raw material and Tube dimensions, quality of weld, and shape to meet quality control standards.
• Place coils of steel strips in the Tube Mill machine and guide them through the process.
• Perform spot welding, change electrodes, and move tubes between machines.
• Fully comply with all applicable laws providing equal employment opportunities, as well as safety guidelines.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical college program or courses preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a production/industrial environment.
• Basic mathematical skills, basic measurement skills using calipers and micrometers.
• Familiarity with machine control panels and basic computer literacy.
• Mechanical basics/background and general understanding of welding principles.

• This position requires close vision for inspecting parts and ability to move in various ways throughout the day.
• Dedicated work hours available, starting at $22.00 per hour, dependent on location, based on average cost of living calculations from the given data
