The architect will spearhead intricate projects, ensuring the successful development and deployment of application solutions. Additionally, this role serves as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert for the Inspire Executive and Leadership teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architect and design scalable, distributed Digital E-Commerce Platforms utilizing cloud technologies and other innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with fellow Solution Architects to create a cohesive multi-brand digital platform that serves all Inspire Brands.
  • Develop solutions that are adaptable and scalable to meet the varying demands of different brands.
  • Guide the effective implementation of architectural designs by managing expectations, risks, and balancing both tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend and address complex challenges, presenting various solution alternatives and technical concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Work alongside delivery teams to provide guidance and design input within an Agile framework.
  • Formulate reliable solution plans that encompass cost estimates and optimized delivery strategies, collaborating with business and technology teams while enforcing governance and compliance measures.
  • Identify and leverage emerging disruptive technologies to enhance business value.
  • Contribute to the establishment of domain models and common services, leading efforts in Digital Technology and Application Rationalization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in application design, development, and systems lifecycle management.
  • More than 5 years of architectural experience with complex enterprise systems.
  • At least 3 years of e-commerce experience within the food or retail sectors.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proven experience in implementing solution ecosystems that involve multiple SaaS and on-prem/cloud applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing Identity Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions across various SaaS and on-prem/cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with integration technologies such as APIs, message buses, event buses, and managed file transfers; experience with different middleware is advantageous.
  • Strong background in creating solutions involving ServiceNow (CSM), Oracle ERP, SharePoint, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Extensive experience leading architecture development for enterprise-scale systems in public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle), with a preference for Azure experience.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into design specifications and user stories.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment across multiple Scrum teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with REST APIs, Microservices, SwaggerHub, Java, Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Comprehensive understanding of application, infrastructure, and security architecture, including non-functional aspects such as performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
  • Expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with a willingness to engage in Proof of Concepts as necessary.
  • Collaborate with business and development teams to finalize project use cases and requirements.
  • Provide project cost estimates to stakeholders.
  • Authorize project and/or application architecture and deployment.
