About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our Assembly department at Versa Products (NJ). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality pneumatic control valves using a variety of tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble pneumatic control valves using pneumatic drivers, torque wrenches, and other hand tools, and conduct functional tests on completed units.
  • Quality Control: Follow assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure product quality and consistency, and troubleshoot assembly performance issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Cross-Training: Crosstrain on different product lines as needed to expand your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and pneumatic tools, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Background: Background in mechanical assembly, particularly with precision components.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with pneumatic systems.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in industries such as manufacturing, energy, or utilities.
