Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at our Denver facility. The successful candidate will have experience in aluminum Tig and Mig welding and will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components as identified in production orders and by following specific work instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and diagrams to determine the appropriate welding process.
  • Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment, including disc grinders to smooth out, weld, or grind parts prior to welding.
  • Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding) and examine welds for part specifications.
  • Grind or clean weld joints of work pieces and repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes.
  • Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble them in a jig fixture.
  • Assemble component parts using hand and small power tools.
  • Leak test units if needed.
  • Pass HYDAC's Basic Weld Test to be hired.
  • Work overtime as needed and follow HYDAC's work instructions.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Tig and Mig aluminum welding.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a basic understanding of the interpretation of blueprints, specifications, and diagrams, as well as experience in operating manual and automated welding units and equipment.

You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work overtime as needed.
