The Ambulatory Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in supporting the clinical team within the Podiatry department. This full-time position is designed for dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in providing comprehensive care to patients, focusing on nail care and other podiatric needs.
- Facilitate patient visits and procedures, including wound care, documentation, and routine laboratory tests.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Support back-office operations during periods of clinician absence or increased patient volume.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
- Active licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Indiana.
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred.
