Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team at Damco Solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration, particularly with DB2 UDB 11.x. The role involves providing operational and development support to the organization, consulting with application project teams, reorganizing database when needed, monitoring and analysing database performance and usage patterns, and evaluating tools and software. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years' experience with DB2 UDB 11.x, 5-7 years' experience as SQL developer, demonstrable experience with analysing complex stored procedures, extensive experience with database performance tuning including stored procedures, solid knowledge of IBM DB2 UDB and technical database concepts, experience evaluating and implementing new UDB features, experience in LINUX/UNIX Korn Shell scripting, and utosys job management experience highly desired.
