Server (Monterey)

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team at Black Bear Diner. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

• Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and valued.
• Inform guests of specials and feature items, and answer questions about our menu.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into our point-of-sale system, and deliver orders to guests in a timely manner.
• Run food orders from the pick-up window, and perform side work as assigned.
• Maintain clean service areas, and monitor and observe guests' dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare bills, present checks to guests, and thank them for their visit.

• Possess excellent verbal and language skills to communicate with guests.
• Have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, and safely lift and maneuver plates of food and supplies.
