Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Café Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our prepared meal team, you will be responsible for preparing fresh food items daily, following recipes, and ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare fresh food items daily, following recipes and guidelines
* Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
* Ensure shelves are clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products
* Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
* Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures

* Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with the team
* Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, understand and plan future productions, and adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
* Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
* Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area, manage high exposure and expectations, and ensure quality and date control standards
* Be a Talent Ambassador: Be an advocate for the department and the club, model high-quality service and products, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work
