Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at Residential Condominium Property Management Company.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large portfolios of condominium properties and a strong understanding of the needs of homeowners associations.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 700 condominium units, including overseeing association projects and reviewing financial statements.
  • Ensure that all association insurance coverage is in place and up to date.
  • Guide the association's fiscal management, including budgeting and financial planning.
  • Participate in required litigation needs and maintain vendor relations.
  • Oversee special projects and coordinate association board and annual meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with all association members and educate them on legislation changes that impact their HOA.
  • Comply with Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and violation procedures.
  • Handle communications with clients via meetings, calls, and emails.
  • Some evening meetings may be required.
  • Lead effective meetings and ensure that all necessary information is communicated to stakeholders.
  • Association payments and receipts will be handled in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Vendor bidding and coordination will be an essential part of this role.
  • Coordination and participation in the annual meeting/election process will be required.
  • Various financial tasks, including financial statement oversight, bid process, and bid spec proposals, will be handled.
  • Author or provide correspondence, budget information, and election information as needed.
  • Completion of daily, weekly, and monthly Community Manager Checklist will be a priority.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed will be assigned.

  • Conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle escalated homeowner concerns and questions effectively.
  • Ability to draft correspondence and respond to inquiries and client concerns effectively and independently.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Jenark or Yardi a Plus is a plus.
