About the Position:

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeon to join our team in Beaumont, Texas. As a board-certified/eligible surgeon, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting, heart transplants, and lung resections.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex cardiovascular and thoracic conditions.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, pulmonologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce complications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery through ongoing education and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.
  • Unrestricted Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain a license in the State of Texas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
