Job Title: Registered Nurse - Mother/Baby, PRN

Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother/Baby team on a PRN basis. As a Registered Nurse in our Mother/Baby unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to new mothers and their babies, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis to support our unit's staffing needs. As a Registered Nurse in our Mother/Baby unit, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care to new mothers and their babies, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing emotional support.
  • Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  • Participating in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
