Job Summary:

As a Staff Pharmacist at Avita Health System, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. Your expertise will be essential in interpreting physician prescriptions and medication orders, monitoring patient therapies, and serving as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, and ancillary department personnel. You will also be responsible for compounding and dispensing prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals, as well as supervising and directing support personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret physician prescriptions and medication orders
  • Monitor patient therapies
  • Act as a drug information resource
  • Compound and dispense medications
  • Supervise and direct support personnel

Requirements:
  • Current Pharmacist licensure in good standing in the State of Ohio
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent

Shift Information:
Casual, as needed
