Donation Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries International Inc. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading an excellent customer and brand experience, promoting sales, and ensuring a seamless donation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accept and process donations from customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Label and organize donations in the production room or sales floor.
• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all donors.
• Identify and address any potential hazardous products being donated, providing safe disposal options to customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading furniture or other items to and from vehicles.
• Maintain a clean and organized production room, adhering to PPM standards.
• Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
