Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Poultry Production Worker to join our team at Tyson Foods Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for attending to and caring for hens, ensuring they have adequate feed, water, and ventilation. Your duties will include weighing feed, hand-feeding birds, recording information, collecting and handling eggs, inspecting poultry for diseases, and maintaining biosecurity and animal welfare standards. You will also be required to wear personal protective equipment and work in various environmental conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities: * Weigh feed and hand-feed birds according to schedules * Record information accurately, including egg numbers, bird weight, medications, feed intake, mortality, and production percentage * Collect and handle eggs, observing and grading egg quality, and distributing or disposing of eggs accordingly * Inspect poultry for diseases and remove weak, ill, and dead poultry from the flock * Monitor feed, water, and ventilation systems * Maintain biosecurity and animal welfare standards * Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with colleagues and supervisors

Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to lift up to 58 pounds and stand for extended periods * Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing situations * Willingness to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in various environmental conditions * Ability to follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required

Salary and Benefits: As an employee of Tyson Foods Inc., you will enjoy a competitive salary of $16.00 per hour, plus additional shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.
