Key Responsibilities:

Position Overview: SEACORP requires a Software Configuration Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience and the capability to secure a DoD Secret Clearance. This role will involve teamwork with colleagues and clients, effective problem-solving, and demonstrating strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Facilitating a Configuration Control Board (CCB) and securing stakeholder approvals.
  • Managing Software Engineering artifacts and their interrelations.
  • Overseeing software development environments and coordinating software release management.
  • Supporting and managing build releases and verifications.
  • Automating builds through scripting and enhancing existing build software.
  • Maintaining configuration control of software baselines.
  • Managing documentation related to software changes.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency with Jira, Git, and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with the Agile development methodology.
  • Understanding of software builds and release processes.
  • Experience with scripting for Linux environments.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: This position involves office and computer lab activities, including periods of sitting, standing, and using a mouse and keyboard, along with screen viewing and occasional light lifting. Movement between office locations may be necessary. Work conditions are generally stable but may vary slightly based on seasonal factors.
