Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Lumberyard Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service in our retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers at the sales counter, assisting with their needs in a lumberyard and hardware setting.
  • Facilitate the loading of lumber and various building supplies into customer vehicles.
  • Conduct small local deliveries using company vehicles.
  • Restock merchandise to ensure product availability.
  • Manage incoming phone inquiries professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Availability for full-time hours, including Saturdays.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with forklift operations.
  • Possession of a CDL or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience in construction or building trades is advantageous.
