Laboratory Technician

As a highly skilled Laboratory Technician, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience.
About the Position
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical technology, with a 2-year associate degree required and a bachelor's degree preferred. ASCP certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of employment is also a plus. In this role, you will perform accurate and timely laboratory testing, assume responsibility for the department when needed, and complete all necessary records and documentation. You will also work closely with other team members to ensure quality control procedures are followed and problem specimens are handled properly.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory testing with high accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any issues or discrepancies in test results
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, attending training sessions and workshops as needed
