Job Description:

The Electrical Systems Technician will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and repairs to electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment on campus. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical apparatus, including fire alarm and telephone systems, as well as maintaining current knowledge of installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all phases of electrical work, including installation, wiring, maintenance, and repair.
  • Collaborate with contractors, inspectors, suppliers, and coworkers on projects and work orders.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Minimum six years of related electrical experience required; valid/current Journeyman Electrician's License (State Of Vermont) required.
  • Valid/current driver's license required.
