Job Title: MRI Technologist - Travel Position

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at St. Michael Medical Center for a travel contract.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI imaging and will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and patient areas
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Participate in the holiday rotation and standby rotation
Requirements:
  • Active BLS and WA License
  • 2 full years of experience in MRI imaging
  • IV skills required
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in MRI Cardiac, Breast, and Breast Biopsy MRI
  • Knowledge of EPIC and Sectra PACS software and hardware
Work Environment:

The MRI department at St. Michael Medical Center is a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. The department has two MRI scanners at the main hospital and three outpatient clinics.
