Under the guidance of the Practice Manager, the Medical Assistant will operate under the direct supervision of physicians while executing clinical responsibilities during patient care. The individual will also report to the office coordinator or shift supervisor regarding administrative and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients both in person and over the phone.
  • Collaborate effectively with all service personnel to support direct patient services.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive attitude in all tasks.
  • Uphold the organization's core values and mission through all interactions.
  • Exercise discretion, diplomacy, and tact in communications with patients and staff.

Compensation:

$30.10 per hour

Qualifications:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  2. Completion of a Medical Assistant program or a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
  3. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification is necessary.
  4. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  5. Attention to detail, multitasking ability, and adaptability are required.
  6. Proficient computer skills with experience in medical systems are necessary.
  7. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as fax machines and copiers is required.
  8. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
  9. Strong organizational, planning, and independent working skills are necessary, along with the ability to work effectively within a team.
