Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a partnering hospital in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Job Summary:

This is a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist position that requires a strong background in respiratory care services. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given to individual patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement and document care plans, including respiratory therapy treatments and patient education.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment.
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
