Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Engineer 3 to support the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) Modeling & Simulation Software (MSS) program. The selected candidate will directly support the Value Management Office (VMO) team and be responsible for assessing and evaluating customers' cybersecurity requirements to drive built-in cybersecurity protections to the architecture and design.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate customers' cybersecurity requirements to drive built-in cybersecurity protections to the architecture and design.
Evaluate and assess the proposed and realized implementation to identify security risks and verify the cybersecurity protections from the design are realized and integrated while ensuring the development of verification efforts to ensure the cybersecurity protections / capabilities are functional, effective, and complete.
Utilize the Atlassian product suite, including Jira and Confluence, to support Agile Scrum team development efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of related technical experience; OR Masters Degree with 3 or more years of related technical experience; OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Currently possess an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.
Currently possess an ACTIVE DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+).
Experience with vulnerability and compliance scanners such as Nessus and SCAP.
Experience with End Point Security (ESS) Agents such as Trellix.
Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Experience with implementing STIGs and tracking non-compliance of Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms).
Experience utilizing eMASS.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working toward obtaining and maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO).
Experience working in a SAFe (Agile) environment.
Familiarity with Linux and operating in a Linux environment.
Familiarity operating in a Windows environment.
DoD 8500-series and IA policy directives, approaches to cyber security, knowledge of security procedures, IATT and ATO requirements.
