Senior IT Project Manager

CBTS is seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex projects in Columbus, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project proposals and estimates, and conduct quality reviews
  • Manage issues and risks, and use tools to forecast and track project delivery and budget
  • Provide oversight for performance, cost, scope, schedule, and quality to technical leadership
  • Lead projects to produce solution deliverables within agreed-upon timeframes
  • Execute process activities from requirements definition to development, test, and final delivery
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Develop clear documentation and design sketches to facilitate communication
  • Facilitate collaboration across functions, departments, and levels
  • Manage relationships between Customer, other Customer IT Environment Providers, and Service Provider Personnel
  • Coordinate status reporting on program-oriented work efforts and compliance with Customer technical standards
  • Direct and monitor work efforts, and provide status reports to leadership teams

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in project management and leadership across IT and business functions
  • Experience managing large complex projects with internal/external and labor/non-labor cost components
  • Extensive knowledge of project management best practices, including waterfall, agile, and SDLC methodologies and tools
  • Excellent leadership skills, with ability to coach, develop, and lead a team
  • Proven ability to engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders
  • Experience with project cost management and resource capacity planning
  • Strong Business Process Analysis and Mapping skills
  • Experience implementing change management approaches to support projects
  • Project management certification (PMP), Agile certification (PSM, PSPO), and ITIL v3 or v4 a plus
