Position Title: Gastroenterology MD

Start Date: To be determined

Contract Duration: 6+ months

Shift Information: 8 AM - 5 PM. Full-time or near full-time with some weekend and evening on-call duties required.

Work Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month with on-call responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • Support Personnel: On-site RNs, CNAs, imaging technicians, and APPs available. Hospitalist support is accessible 24/7 for admissions.
  • Patient Volume: Typically, 9-13 procedures performed daily. In-clinic consultations are scheduled for either 45 or 60 minutes, with follow-up appointments lasting 30 minutes.
  • Department Overview: Proficiency in ERCP and EUS is essential. Upper and lower gastrointestinal conscious sedation is mandatory.

Practice Environment: Hospital setting.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification: Required.
  • State License: Not required; IMLC providers are accepted and will be licensed.
  • DEA Registration: Required.

Credentialing Timeline: Estimated 60-90 days.
