- Job Summary: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Vertis Therapy Management in a PRN position at a senior community with AL/IL/cottages in Meridian, MS.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy treatments to patients in accordance with treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Support the Occupational Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures.
- Monitor, record, and report patient conditions, reactions, and responses related to treatment.
- Maintain accurate daily records of treatments and document progress notes on patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to consult with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the Occupational Therapy department and equipment.
- Adhere to Vertis Therapy Management Policies and Procedures, State, Federal, and Professional Organization regulatory and professional standards and guidelines.
