Pediatric Rehabilitation Charge Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse for our Pediatric Rehabilitation department. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operations of the Pediatric Rehabilitation unit during assigned shifts
  • Monitor, evaluate, and direct patient care provided by staff
  • Coordinate activities of the patient care unit, make staff assignments, and assist with staff development and evaluation
  • Recruit, hire, and evaluate staff members, as well as provide coaching and counseling as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
  • BLS and PEARS certification within 12 months of hire
  • 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, rehabilitation, or hospital inpatient settings
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred, but not required
