Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Nurse at Juniper Communities, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional care and support to residents in a senior living setting
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the health and wellness component of the community
- Assisting with medication administration and documentation
- Observing patients/residents under treatment to identify progress and side-effects
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Providing assistance with activities of daily living
- Administering prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks
- Collecting lab samples
- Communicating with other members of the team, residents, families, and medical professionals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- LPN licensure (required)
- RN licensure (preferred)
- LVN licensure (preferred, not required)
- BLS Certification (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Perfect physical condition and stamina
