We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings, including the ED, Trauma, and Critical Care units.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and provide information about community resources.
- Respond to codes and emergent assistance calls.
- Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
- Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification for Adult areas.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification for Pediatric areas.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification for NICU.
This is a night shift position, working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
