Job Summary

BAE Systems USA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Master Planner to join our Combat Vehicles Master Planning & Scheduling team. As a Senior Master Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining complex detailed program plans and schedules that guide program execution and serve as the baseline against which performance is measured.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing compliant program schedules constructed with the necessary level of detail and logic such that the schedule is a valuable program management tool
  • Horizontal and vertical integration of program plans and schedules across company functional groups including finance, engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, and quality
  • Preparing regular Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) updates and reports for program management, customers, and/or business management personnel
  • Monitoring progress against scheduled activities and identifying performance variances to facilitate focus on critical areas as well as developing and implementing work-around or recovery plans
  • Analyzing schedules including critical & driving paths and risk & opportunity in compliance with Combat Vehicles, customer, and industry requirements
  • Timely preparation and submission of contract deliverables related to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Integrated Master Plan (IMP)
  • Ensuring that all schedules and contract deliverables are fully compliant with internal policies, customer, and industry requirements

  • Understanding of Earned Value Management principles

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Business Administration or similar along with at least 4 years of planning/scheduling experience
  • Experience with AcumenFuse, AcumenRisk, Milestones Pro, Oracle, and/or Cobra
  • Experience with program schedule forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense of Defense (DoD) program environment
  • Thorough understanding of US DoD schedule policies and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements
  • Willingness to challenge and improve knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policies
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
