Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team, who will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, as well as strategies for maintaining independence and safety
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
