Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and administering speech-language treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of communication, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Develops and implements treatment plans according to valid prescriptions and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Conducts communication, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing evaluations within established time frames.
- Establishes plans of care for each patient, including mutually established goals, taking into account patient age and educational level.
- Documents progress toward goals and reports to physicians per departmental and applicable regulatory policy.
- Prepares and maintains accurate patient care records according to departmental protocols.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current License as Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of practice.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- CPR certification.
