Job Overview:

This Casual Night Vessel Operator position is a critical component of our marine operations team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of vessels and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain marine equipment and vessels
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as pumping sewage and filling potable and flushing water tanks
  • Assist in the engine room during vessel operation
  • Record information in machinery logs and report completed work or needed repairs
  • Ensure cleanliness of vessel engine room and other machinery spaces

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Merchant Mariner Credential preferred
