Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Jackson Healthcare Government Services, LLC. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients with mental health conditions, including administering medications, conducting therapy sessions, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to prevent patient harm.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in psychiatric care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Technician Program or completion of an equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience as a Psychiatric Technician or LPN/LVN in a mental healthcare setting.
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Psychiatric Technician in any one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
