Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating courses at San Diego City College. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and be able to provide high-quality instruction to our students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating courses to students at San Diego City College.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students.
  • Provide instruction and support to students outside of class.
  • Maintain accurate records and meet district requirements.
  • Participate in department meetings and contribute to the development of the HVAC program.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in HVAC, or Associate degree and six years of professional experience in HVAC, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of our students.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with students, faculty, and staff.
Working Conditions

Variable, depending on assignment.

Conditions of Employment
  • Submit official college transcripts.
  • Provide a Certificate of Tuberculosis Exam.
  • Have fingerprints taken by a Live Scan computer.
  • Present original documents for proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
