Clean Harbors is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale environmental projects at various customer locations.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee small to mid-size, technically complex projects involving waste site clean-up and construction, building and equipment decontamination and demolition.
- Proposal Development: Prepare proposals, including cost estimates and work scopes and schedules, to secure new business opportunities.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and issues.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates, and subcontractor selection and procurement.
- Health and Safety: Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of environmental field service operations experience; Leadership/supervisor experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of equipment operations, knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, and emergency response supervisor training preferred.
