Job Title: Bell/Valet Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and courteous Bell/Valet Attendant to join our team at 21c Museum Hotels. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the lobby and entrance areas to ensure a clean and attractive facility for our guests.
  • Assist guests with luggage, including unloading and transporting to their room, and assisting with departure.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist other departments and employees to contribute to the overall performance of the hotel.
  • Keep abreast of local activities and establishments to answer guest inquiries and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, not only with guests and teammates but also with passersby.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
  • Tactful, courteous, and discreet.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak and understand English.
  • Clean and professional appearance.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of driving experience with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to operate two- and four-wheeled luggage carts and standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to lift luggage up to 70 lbs.
  • Capable of prolonged standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
