Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, and Wisconsin RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical setting is essential.
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading telemetry is required.
Unit Information:
- The Medical-Surgical unit consists of 22 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of up to 1:6.
- Candidates should be adaptable and resilient, capable of managing change effectively.
Work Schedule:
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.
- Weekend and holiday rotations are mandatory.
Additional Requirements:
- Recent experience with Epic charting within the last year is necessary.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
Scrub Colors:
- Any color is acceptable for scrubs.
