Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to take on a travel assignment at St Joseph Medical Center. This role requires a professional with the necessary certifications and experience to provide exceptional patient care in various settings.

Certification Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) Certification
  • BLS Certification
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI neuro, body, and musculoskeletal studies
  • Utilize EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
  • Operate Siemens TIMS Symphony and 3T Trio MRI equipment
  • Start IVs as needed based on departmental requirements
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • General certification in BLS
  • Flexibility to float between outpatient and inpatient areas
Schedule Details
  • Day Shift
  • Orientation: First full week, Monday to Friday
  • Limited on-call duty (2 days per month)
  • No weekend or holiday shifts unless agreed upon
Unit Specific Information
  • Dress Code: Personal scrubs required
  • Department Orientation: Yes, during the first week
  • Number of Scanners: Two
Additional Information
  • Average number of scans/studies per day: 13
  • Traveler must provide their own scrubs
  • Tax deductions apply as per state regulations
