Position Overview
- Full-time role with Night Shift availability
- 3 shifts of 12 hours each
- Rotating weekends every third week
- Participation in two major and minor holidays annually
- No on-call responsibilities
- Focus exclusively on inpatient care
- Collaborative team comprising 21 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers
- Opportunity to engage in educational initiatives at a well-respected community hospital
Core Responsibilities
- Manage overnight admissions and provide cross-coverage for patients
- Deliver education to patients and their families
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and implement treatment plans, collaborating with various subspecialty services
- Work closely with a supervising physician in a collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field is mandatory
- Board certification or eligibility is required
- Certification as ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA is essential
- A minimum of one year of inpatient experience is preferred
- Experience in Pulmonary Critical Care, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, or Nephrology is ideal
