Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Server to join our team at Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Outstanding Service: Greet members and guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure Member Satisfaction: Check back with members and guests to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with their dining experience.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Ensure all tables are bussed properly, water glasses are full, and the dining area is clean and organized.
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for members and guests.
  • Attend Pre-Meal Meetings and Lineups: Participate in pre-meal meetings and lineups to review the day's schedule, discuss any special requests or events, and ensure a smooth start to service.
  • Perform Side Work and Clean-Up: Set up side stations, perform assigned side work, and participate in clean-up and closing duties to ensure the dining area is ready for the next day.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as a server in a fine dining environment, preferably in a hotel, resort, or club setting.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of Jonas POS system preferred.
  • Certifications: Florida Food Handler Certification, CPR/AED Certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Moving: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, standing, reaching, bending, turning, and stooping.
  • Vision and Hearing: Normal vision and hearing ranges required.
