We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Ob/Gyn Sonographer to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our Ultrasound Department, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive non-invasive, invasive, and vascular procedures to demonstrate OB/GYN anatomy under investigation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams, including OB/GYN and pelvic ultrasound exams, endovaginal scanning, and OB/GYN color duplex scanning.
- Provide accurate and complete images for diagnosis of high-risk OB/GYN patients.
- Document patient history and results of studies, including summary of findings and notification of appropriate physicians.
- Assist physicians during invasive procedures, such as amniocentesis, sonohysterograms, endometrial biopsies, and chorionic villi sampling.
- Participate in professional development, including continuing education seminars and maintaining professional accreditation in ARDMS and Nuchal Translucency certification.
- Graduate of AMA-approved school of ultrasound.
- 2 years of OB/GYN experience.
- Must become proficient in fetal echos within 1 year of hire date.
- ARDMS-Registered in OB.
- Certified in performing Nuchal Translucency.
- CPR certification.
