Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting. This includes administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring patient conditions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to infection control protocols
- Order supplies and manage inventory to maintain a well-stocked supply room
- Monitor and track lab orders, outside consults, and medical transfers
- Coordinate and plan admission workflows, print requisitions, and ensure collected samples are properly labeled
- Perform administrative functions, such as scanning documents and assisting with the work schedule
- Certification in Practical Nursing or equivalent as per state law
- Behavioral health setting experience ideal
